Vilius Čiuzas hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Einaras Aleksonis notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Legionas's Girkantas Bikas. Girkantas Bikas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vilius Čiuzas kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Legionas's Vilius Čiuzas got a free kick in the 48th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rupertas Jančys to make the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Rytis Krasauskas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Legionas's Girkantas Bikas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Girkantas Bikas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rytis Krasauskas, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Vladas Mišeikis made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Rupertas Jančys sent off a good shot on target. Einaras Aleksonis succeeded in the game's 73rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. The throw-in from Eduardas Gotautas in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Legionas's Raimundas Kabašinskas. A collision led to Legionas getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Faustão Paraíba hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rytis Krasauskas in the 81st minute of play forced Legionas's goalkeeper Girkantas Bikas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Einaras Aleksonis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rūtenis Apukas made in the 93rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Legionas's Faustão Paraíba. Girkantas Bikas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rytis Krasauskas in the 96th minute of the match. After 97 played minutes Legionas got a freekick which was hit by Algirdas Birbilas. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Kulniskiu fully deserved thier win.
