The Kandys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelijus Kšanavičius should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Redas Elijošius took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for 梅超浩 to make any attempt to save it. Sigve Konradsen charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sigve Konradsen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th match minute, FC Druskininkai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sigve Konradsen to maneuver through the defense. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
