Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Pondersbridge AFC's Amer Abdul Baqi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hazim Kareef during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hazim Kareef kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Pondersbridge AFC's Amer Abdul Baqi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bakkar Fathi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 9 minutes into the game, Haidar Faraj was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pondersbridge AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cressage the free kick. After 9 played minutes Pondersbridge AFC got a freekick which was hit by Haidar Faraj. If Amer Abdul Baqi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Khalil Abdul Ahad in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bakkar Fathi saved Cressage from getting behind. In the 23rd minute of the match Hamid Yaseen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bakkar Fathi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 26th minute of the match Hamdi Latif shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Osama Hamdi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Cressage booed when Pondersbridge AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hisham Abou Fakr didn't get a good kick on the ball. Khaled Khalif received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Osama Hamdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Kamal Osman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pondersbridge AFC's zone, Kamal Osman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osama Hamdi came out of the goal and Kamal Osman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Salah Nawfal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cressage's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salah Nawfal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Khalil Abdul Ahad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bakkar Fathi having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Khaled Khalif to strike the kick off in the second half. Khaled Khalif fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osama Hamdi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amer Abdul Baqi in the 59th minute of play forced Cressage's goalkeeper Bakkar Fathi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bakkar Fathi made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Khalil Abdul Ahad sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute, Khaled Khalif hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Khalil Abdul Ahad took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bakkar Fathi. Bakkar Fathi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Osama Hamdi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kamal Osman in the 70th minute of the match. In the 76th match minute, Pondersbridge AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sofyan Hayek to maneuver through the defense. If Kamal Osman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hazim Kareef hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Amer Abdul Baqi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute Khaled Khalif shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osama Hamdi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, Cressage was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Khaled Khalif to maneuver through the defense. Khaled Khalif received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Osama Hamdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
