Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lotfi Aban made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6th minute, Meldreth's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Yaser Wade fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Hamid Alhasan came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Meldreth's Thawab Abdul Tawwab. But to his dismay, Thawab Abdul Tawwab quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hamid Alhasan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wahid Wade in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thawab Abdul Tawwab in the 18th minute of play forced Tadcaster's goalkeeper Hamid Alhasan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Lotfi Aban managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tadcaster's supporters rose to their feet, but Lotfi Aban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wasil Al Aswad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wahid Wade in the 29th minute of play forced Tadcaster's goalkeeper Hamid Alhasan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Dirar Al Badoum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Tadcaster's Yaser Wade sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wasil Al Aswad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Lotfi Aban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aatif Fareed fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meldreth's protests and gave Aatif Fareed a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Meldreth getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Aatif Fareed hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
After 54 minutes of play Meldreth's Aatif Fareed was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Meldreth getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Aatif Fareed hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yaser Wade in the 58th minute of play forced Meldreth's goalkeeper Wasil Al Aswad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wasil Al Aswad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yaser Wade, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Wahid Wades short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Hamid Alhasan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Meldreth's Wasil Al Aswad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yaser Wade in the 73rd minute of play. In the 79th minute Lotfi Aban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wasil Al Aswad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wahid Wade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Hamid Alhasan made a huge save. When Dirar Al Badoum fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tadcaster's protests and gave Dirar Al Badoum a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th match minute, Tadcaster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dirar Al Badoum to maneuver through the defense. Lotfi Aban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lotfi Aban's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wasil Al Aswad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Wahid Wade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hamid Alhasan having to make a save.
