Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Diya Nadal kicked off to start the match. Yapton's Khalil Ghanim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diya Nadal in the 9th minute of play. Tahir Ramadan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Khalil Ghanim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diya Nadal, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 26th minute, Henley on Thames United's Diya Nadal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Khalil Ghanim. Khalil Ghanim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Diya Nadal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Khalil Ghanim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diya Nadal was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 31st minute. Henley on Thames United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 33 minutes into the game, Bashir Tajid recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Khalil Ghanim. Bashir Tajid showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 35 minutes, Diya Nadal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Henley on Thames United and the Yapton players grew even worse after the yellow card. 37 minutes into the match, Yapton's Tahir Ramadan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ashraf Ilias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 39 minutes, Bashir Tajid managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Henley on Thames United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bashir Tajid was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Diya Nadal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tahir Ramadan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ashraf Ilias having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rasul El Hariri made a kick off. Bashir Tajid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khalil Ghanim having to interfere. Yapton's Khalil Ghanim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bashir Tajid in the 60th minute of play. After having played for 63 minutes, Bashir Tajid managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Henley on Thames United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bashir Tajid was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Bashir Tajid managed to get in a good position for a shot. Henley on Thames United's supporters rose to their feet, but Bashir Tajid was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Khalil Ghanim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd match minute, Yapton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mousa Abdul Basir to maneuver through the defense. Bashir Tajid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khalil Ghanim having to interfere. Khalil Ghanim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bashir Tajid, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Khalil Ghanim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bashir Tajid in the 79th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Tahir Ramadan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ashraf Ilias, passed just outside the right post. Tahir Ramadan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ashraf Ilias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 88 played minutes Henley on Thames United got a freekick which was hit by Ubaid Ilias. Tahir Ramadan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ashraf Ilias having to interfere. When Tahir Ramadan came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Yapton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tahir Ramadan couldn't finish the play. After 94 played minutes Henley on Thames United got a freekick which was hit by Ubaid Ilias. When Rasul El Hariri came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Yapton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rasul El Hariri couldn't finish the play. Yapton's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
