Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Mostafa Wade started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Moneer Touffah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 15th minute, Dawoud Abou Zaki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 1-0 became the score in the 16th minute when Rasul Abdul Khaliq elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Moneer Touffah ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nassar Ruwaid was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Nassar Ruwaid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moneer Touffah in the 23rd minute of play. In the 30th minute Moneer Touffah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nassar Ruwaid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 minutes, Yaser Al Safi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ashby de la Zouch and the Hitchin AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tareq Ghazwan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mostafa Wade in the 41st minute of the match. Rasul Abdul Khaliq received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Tareq Ghazwan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ashby de la Zouch's Mostafa Wade slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tareq Ghazwan. That made the score 2-1 after 48 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Fawzi Daabas made the kick off in the second half. Moneer Touffah charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moneer Touffah the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th minute, Moneer Touffah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mostafa Wade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hassan Khulus hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Nassar Ruwaid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fawzi Daabas in the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Dawoud Abou Zaki reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nassar Ruwaid. The goal made the score 2-2. Moneer Touffah could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Nassar Ruwaid made a huge save. In the 74th minute, Wakil Ajram hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fawzi Daabas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nassar Ruwaid having to interfere. Mostafa Wade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tareq Ghazwan having to interfere. The supporters of Hitchin AFC booed when Ashby de la Zouch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yaser Al Safi didn't get a good kick on the ball.
