The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Abdul Aziz Al Jarah fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chiswick's protests and gave Abdul Aziz Al Jarah a yellow card for diving instead. Abdul Aziz Al Jarah hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. If Dawood Al Besher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Othman Al Nasser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the match, Blackpool United's goal looked a bit too open when Bashar Al Hadad came free, but Jamal Abol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Othman Al Nasser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chiswick's Fayez Al Sharah got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Blackpool United's Jamal Abol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Blackpool United from getting a goal against them. When Fayez Al Sharah came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Chiswick fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fayez Al Sharah couldn't finish the play. After having played for 24 minutes, Dawood Al Besher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blackpool United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dawood Al Besher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kamal Al Saffar during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Chiswick booed when Blackpool United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kamal Al Saffar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th match minute, Chiswick was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bashar Al Hadad to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Chiswick's goal looked a bit too open when Kamal Al Saffar came free, but Mahdi Al Herz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dawood Al Besher might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mahdi Al Herz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dawood Al Besher ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Othman Al Nasser in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mahdi Al Herz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mahmoud Al Mosawe hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Chiswick's goal looked a bit too open when Dawood Al Besher came free, but Mahdi Al Herz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Chiswick getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Mahmoud Al Mosawe hit a great ball. Blackpool United's Othman Al Nasser got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Othman Al Nasser recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dawood Al Besher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th match minute, Chiswick was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mahmoud Al Mosawe to maneuver through the defense. When Dawood Al Besher came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Blackpool United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dawood Al Besher couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bashar Al Hadad made a kick off. A collision led to Blackpool United getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Mosab Al Motaire hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the game, Othman Al Nasser cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mahdi Al Herz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 76 minutes into the game, Fayez Al Sharah was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chiswick's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blackpool United the free kick. In the 76th match minute, Chiswick was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fayez Al Sharah to maneuver through the defense. Jamal Abol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bashar Al Hadad in the 83rd minute of play. Othman Al Nassers short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Mahdi Al Herz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chiswick fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! Blackpool United played a much better game than Chiswick and deserved their victory. The Chiswick players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
