Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Kamal Al Naqi charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kamal Al Naqi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kamal Al Naqi hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Carterton AFC's Ghasan Al Hashash played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemir Al Harban in the 9th minute of play. After some careless play in the Carterton AFC defense, Nemir Al Harban kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ghasan Al Hashash. The Carterton AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ghasan Al Hashash should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Ameen Boland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ghasan Al Hashash was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. In the 17th minute Nemir Al Harban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ghasan Al Hashash saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carterton AFC's Ghasan Al Hashash played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamal Al Naqi in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Fadhel Al Gareb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ameen Boland took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ghasan Al Hashash. Ghasan Al Hashash dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Mnawer Al Wazan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oun Al Dabos having to interfere. Ameen Boland's late challenge caught a Carterton AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ameen Boland helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Carterton AFC booed when Dunton Green was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ameen Boland didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Mnawer Al Wazan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oun Al Dabos. Dunton Green's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mnawer Al Wazan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Ameen Boland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ghasan Al Hashash having to interfere. Ameen Boland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ghasan Al Hashash showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemir Al Harban, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After 76 minutes, Meteb Al Attar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dunton Green and the Carterton AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Oun Al Dabos had in the 77thth minute some difficulties stopping Waheed Al Qattamy's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Dunton Green's Nemir Al Harban suffered a concussion after 78 minutes and had to leave the field. Bashar Bo Abbas's late challenge caught a Dunton Green's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bashar Bo Abbas helped the player get up and apologised. 81 minutes into the game, Dunton Green's Ameen Boland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ghasan Al Hashash made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Oun Al Dabos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mnawer Al Wazan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dunton Green's goalkeeper Oun Al Dabos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kamal Al Naqi hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The Dunton Green supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dunton Green would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
