Adem Al Shaikh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nizar Al Bloshi in the 8th minute of the match. In the 61st minute of the game, Carterton AFC got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Nizar Al Bloshi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carterton AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nizar Al Bloshi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adem Al Shaikh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Mnawer Al Wazan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adem Al Shaikh was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. In the 77th minute, Mnawer Al Wazan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
