Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Hull's Jamal Al Zamel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adem Al Shaikh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kamal Al Naqi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nemir Al Harban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sari Al Hadad might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oun Al Dabos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sari Al Hadad ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 11th minute, Ameen Boland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ameen Boland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Nemir Al Harban took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Adem Al Shaikh to make any attempt to save it. Dunton Green's Oun Al Dabos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sari Al Hadad in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hull's Abdul Rahman Al Mulaifi got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Haitham Al Mansor sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hull's Adem Al Shaikh didn't even have to move. Nemir Al Harban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Adem Al Shaikh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jamal Al Zamel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oun Al Dabos having to make a save. Aws Bo Qamaz charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aws Bo Qamaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nemir Al Harban to make the kick off. Oun Al Dabos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamal Al Zamel in the 52nd minute of play. Nemir Al Harban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Adem Al Shaikh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haitham Al Mansor's late challenge caught a Hull's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haitham Al Mansor helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hull booed when Dunton Green was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haitham Al Mansor didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Hull's Sultan Bo Abbas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jalal Al Fadhalah hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute Jamal Al Zamel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oun Al Dabos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th match minute, Hull was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aadil Al Zamel to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the match, Hull's goal looked a bit too open when Nemir Al Harban came free, but Adem Al Shaikh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Dunton Green's Ameen Boland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adem Al Shaikh made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Nemir Al Harban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adem Al Shaikh having to interfere. Jamal Al Zamel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oun Al Dabos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play.
