Qais Mandane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qais Al Muwail in the 5th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Qais Al Muwail had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Qais Mandane. Rothwell's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Qais Al Muwail was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ayman Al Ghanem struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Othman Shabakhoh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rothwell. In the 15th match minute, Yoxford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bashar Al Jalahma to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 16 minutes, Yasser Taiban managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rothwell's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yasser Taiban was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mohammad Al Fadhalah's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Othman Shabakhoh skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Mazen Al Homaithe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Ayman Al Ghanem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the game, Yasser Taiban recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Othman Shabakhoh. Yasser Taiban showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 33 minutes into the match, Yoxford's goalkeeper Othman Shabakhoh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mohammad Al Fadhalah. Mazen Al Homaithe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Othman Shabakhoh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yasser Taiban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mazen Al Homaithe in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Qais Mandane saved Rothwell from getting behind.

60 minutes into the game, Salim Al Banwan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rothwell's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yoxford the free kick. After 60 played minutes Rothwell got a freekick which was hit by Salim Al Banwan. Yoxford's Othman Shabakhoh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohammad Al Fadhalah in the 62nd minute of play. If Mazen Al Homaithe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Yasser Taiban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Qais Al Muwail who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Qais Mandane when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Yoxford's Mazen Al Homaithe got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Qais Al Muwail sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rothwell's Qais Mandane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazen Al Homaithe in the 80th minute of play. Othman Shabakhoh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohammad Al Fadhalah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yasser Taiban's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Othman Shabakhoh read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Mazen Al Homaithe reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Qais Mandane. The goal made the score 1-3. Bashar Al Jalahma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the game, Mazen Al Homaithe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Qais Mandane. Mazen Al Homaithe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. The Yoxford supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Yoxford would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
