Earby United's Nasser Al Mansor got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Hurst Green's Basel Al Gareb got a free kick in the 10th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Rashed Al Wazan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Earby United's supporters rose to their feet, but Rashed Al Wazan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adem Al Matrok breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Rashed Al Wazan came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Earby United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rashed Al Wazan couldn't finish the play. In the 17th minute, Rashed Al Wazan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Earby United's Aws Al Arbash got a free kick in the 21st minute. If Moath Al Wazan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Earby United's Saed Hayat got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Basel Al Ghanem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Habib Al Wazan having to interfere. After 36 played minutes, Hurst Green's Tariq Al Hajri shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Habib Al Wazan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hurst Green reached it. Adem Al Matrok made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nasser Al Mansor in the 42nd minute of play. Meshal Boften hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, Hurst Green's Moath Al Wazan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Habib Al Wazan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Nasser Al Mansor made the kick off in the second half. Moath Al Wazan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Habib Al Wazan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Basel Al Ghanem kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Habib Al Wazan. That made the score 0-1 in the 59 minute of play. Nasser Al Mansor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adem Al Matrok having to interfere. Moath Al Wazan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Habib Al Wazan having to interfere. Adem Al Matrok took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nasser Al Mansor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nasser Al Mansor in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adem Al Matrok prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ghaith Al Asuosi kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Earby United's Shabeb Al Homaithe couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 94th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hurst Green.
