An unexpectedly hard shot by Saed Taqi in the 10th minute of play forced Earby United's goalkeeper Habib Al Wazan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saed Taqi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Habib Al Wazan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Nasser Al Mansor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Earby United were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Desert Sand AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Shabeb Al Homaithe took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Shabeb Al Homaithe got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Darweesh Al Abdullah quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Darweesh Al Abdullah made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aws Al Arbash in the 25th minute. Darweesh Al Abdullah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nasser Al Mansor, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. If Nasser Al Mansor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Saed Taqi made the kick off in the second half. Nasser Al Mansor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Darweesh Al Abdullah having to make a save. Desert Sand AFC were furious when Talib Baroun was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 56th minute, one of Desert Sand AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Desert Sand AFC. In the 59th minute there was a penalty for Earby United. Shabeb Al Homaithe stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Darweesh Al Abdullah. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hamzah Boland during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 62 played minutes Desert Sand AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hamzah Boland. If Nasser Al Mansor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. Rashed Al Wazan ran back to his position shaking his head. 82 minutes into the match, Nasser Al Mansor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Darweesh Al Abdullah. Desert Sand AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nasser Al Mansor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 87 minutes into the match, Desert Sand AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Yazeed Al Hashash came free, but Darweesh Al Abdullah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 minutes of play, Earby United's Rashed Al Wazan made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Darweesh Al Abdullah was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yazeed Al Hashash charged in rather forcefully in the 99th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yazeed Al Hashash the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Earby United getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Yazeed Al Hashash hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Earby United were the better team. Earby United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
