Farnsfield's Esam Al Shati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shaban Al Najdi in the 14th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by Talal Baroun got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Talal Baroun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Esam Al Shati made a huge save. In the 28th minute, Sari Shamsah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shaban Al Najdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Farnsfield getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Saleh Al Kandere hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Farnsfield's goal looked a bit too open when Shaban Al Najdi came free, but Esam Al Shati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdul Aziz Al Mofede sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sanad Al Abdullah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamad Al Gareb having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Shaban Al Najdi to make the kick off. The supporters of Farnsfield booed when Fletching FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aadil Al Mosawe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Farnsfield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sanad Al Abdullah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ahmad Shrean fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fletching FC's protests and gave Ahmad Shrean a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Farnsfield booed when Fletching FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmad Shrean didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saleh Al Kandere hit a great ball. Barrak Al Shati kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Farnsfield players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
