The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Osama Ghadhanfer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. Ghaith Al Saleh's late challenge caught a Woodmancote AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ghaith Al Saleh helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Woodmancote AFC booed when Farnsfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ghaith Al Saleh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abbas Al Mahmed scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esam Al Shati, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute, Hashem Al Sherazi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Omar Al Azmi charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Omar Al Azmi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Omar Al Azmi kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Esam Al Shati didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Osama Ghadhanfer went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Osama Ghadhanfer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esam Al Shati having to make a save. Saleh Bahbhani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdul Aziz Al Mofede in the 41st minute of play. Sanad Al Abdullah could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 49th minute of the match, but Saleh Bahbhani made a huge save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdul Aziz Al Mofede was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Farnsfield's goalkeeper Esam Al Shati had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abbas Al Mahmed. A collision led to Farnsfield getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Barrak Al Shati hit a great ball. Barrak Al Shati kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Abbas Al Mahmed blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esam Al Shati having to make a save. Osama Ghadhanfer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omar Al Azmi got free with Esam Al Shati in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Farnsfield's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Osama Ghadhanfer scored to the left of an out of position Esam Al Shati, making the score, 0-3. 80 minutes into the match, Farnsfield's goal looked a bit too open when Osama Ghadhanfer came free, but Esam Al Shati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Osama Ghadhanfer fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Esam Al Shati, passed just outside the right post. If Abdul Aziz Al Mofede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Abbas Al Mahmed managed to get in a good position for a shot. Woodmancote AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abbas Al Mahmed was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esam Al Shati breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abbas Al Mahmed struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Esam Al Shati didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Woodmancote AFC. Abbas Al Mahmed who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Esam Al Shati when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Farnsfield's zone, Osama Ghadhanfer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esam Al Shati came out of the goal and Osama Ghadhanfer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
