Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Shaban Al Najdi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Talal Baroun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Hamad Al Gareb managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Jersey Saint Helier's Gibrel Khorshed fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 20th minute, Gibrel Khorshed fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hamad Al Gareb, passed just outside the right post. Gibrel Khorshed received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Hamad Al Gareb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Talal Baroun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gibrel Khorshed scored 2-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hamad Al Gareb, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eesa Al Bana came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Fletching FC's Shaban Al Najdi. But to his dismay, Shaban Al Najdi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Jersey Saint Helier's Zahid Bo Shehri in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fletching FC's goalie prevented a goal. 37 minutes into the game, Aadil Al Mosawe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fletching FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jersey Saint Helier the free kick. Aadil Al Mosawe kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. If Gibrel Khorshed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Monther Shamsah's late challenge caught a Jersey Saint Helier's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Monther Shamsah helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Jersey Saint Helier booed when Fletching FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Monther Shamsah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fletching FC's Hamad Al Gareb proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Fletching FC from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
52 minutes into the match, Zahid Bo Shehri notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Fletching FC's Hamad Al Gareb. Hamad Al Gareb was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 61 played minutes, Fletching FC's Dawood Al Dowaisan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eesa Al Bana came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fletching FC reached it. When Gibrel Khorshed came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Jersey Saint Helier fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gibrel Khorshed couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, Gibrel Khorshed made a precise shot to the right of Hamad Al Gareb. Fletching FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Eesa Al Bana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Talal Baroun in the 74th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Zahid Bo Shehri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jersey Saint Helier's supporters rose to their feet, but Zahid Bo Shehri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamad Al Gareb breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fletching FC's Hamad Al Gareb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mortada Al Mansor in the 82nd minute of play. Shaban Al Najdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eesa Al Bana having to interfere. Shaban Al Najdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jersey Saint Helier were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Fletching FC for a fine match.
