AKOBRI FC's Shabeb Al Jalahma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Talib Al Dekhel in the 8th minute of play. Mamon Al Nasser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ghanim Al Dowaisan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mamon Al Nasser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Dedham AFC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Sror Al Baghli hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of AKOBRI FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dedham AFC:s goal. Shabeb Al Jalahma went to the wrong direction when Anas Al Mosawe was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bassam Bo Resley during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Dedham AFC's Bassam Bo Resley got a free kick in the 26th minute. Shabeb Al Jalahma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Talib Al Dekhel, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Shabeb Al Jalahma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Talib Al Dekhel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to AKOBRI FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Gibrel Al Sayer hit a great ball. In the 46thth minute of the game Talib Al Dekhel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AKOBRI FC's Shabeb Al Jalahma was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 57th minute, Gibrel Al Sayer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Talib Al Dekhel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dedham AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Talib Al Dekhel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shabeb Al Jalahma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th match minute, AKOBRI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Farooq Al Hammady to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 68 minutes, Gawhar Shalan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dedham AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gawhar Shalan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Oun Al Jalahma fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AKOBRI FC's protests and gave Oun Al Jalahma a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th minute, Oun Al Jalahma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, AKOBRI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Talib Al Dekhel came free, but Shabeb Al Jalahma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, AKOBRI FC's Gibrel Al Sayer seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gibrel Al Sayer the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of AKOBRI FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gibrel Al Sayer had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 73rd minute, one of AKOBRI FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AKOBRI FC. 79 minutes into the game, Mamon Al Nasser was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AKOBRI FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dedham AFC the free kick. After 79 played minutes AKOBRI FC got a freekick which was hit by Mamon Al Nasser. In the 80th minute, Talib Al Dekhel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to AKOBRI FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Aqel Shams hit a great ball. Gawhar Shalan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shabeb Al Jalahma having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Talib Al Dekhel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dedham AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Talib Al Dekhel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mamon Al Nasser recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Dedham AFC's Gawhar Shalan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Shabeb Al Jalahma narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
