The AKOBRI FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Shabeb Al Jalahma should have stopped the shot. If Jamal Al Khobaize had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Morjan Shamsah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Shabeb Al Jalahma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Swanley AFC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Jassem Bo Shehri hit a great ball. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Swanley AFC's goalkeeper Msaed Hayat, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Mamon Al Nasser kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Msaed Hayat. That made the score 2-1 in the 40 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Mamon Al Nasser made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Swanley AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mamon Al Nasser came free, but Msaed Hayat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shabeb Al Jalahma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jamal Al Khobaize in the 56th minute of the match. If Mamon Al Nasser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mamon Al Nasser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jamal Al Khobaize had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Morjan Shamsah got free with Shabeb Al Jalahma in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Khaled Dehrab fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Swanley AFC's protests and gave Khaled Dehrab a yellow card for diving instead. Khaled Dehrab hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After having played for 83 minutes, Morjan Shamsah managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Swanley AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Morjan Shamsah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The attack was good, but when Mamon Al Nasser in the 85th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Swanley AFC's Msaed Hayat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mamon Al Nasser in the 89th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, AKOBRI FC's goalkeeper Shabeb Al Jalahma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Morjan Shamsah. Yasen Bo Shehri kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Swanley AFC's zone, Zahid Al Hadad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Msaed Hayat came out of the goal and Zahid Al Hadad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Swanley AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
