Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mahdi Al Hadad made the kick off which started today's match. If Tariq Al Fadhalah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, Rida Al Ghanem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute, Tariq Al Fadhalah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ghazi Al Qatam fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Horsham's protests and gave Ghazi Al Qatam a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, Ghazi Al Qatam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nizar Taiban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Mansour Kamal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tariq Al Fadhalah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Mahdi Al Hadad came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Horsham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mahdi Al Hadad couldn't finish the play. When Adem Al Najdi fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Al Kuwait SC's protests and gave Adem Al Najdi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute, one of Al Kuwait SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Al Kuwait SC. After 46 minutes of play, Horsham's Mahdi Al Hadad made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ali Hayat was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tariq Al Fadhalah made a kick off. Rida Al Ghanem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Hayat having to interfere. Ali Hayat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mahdi Al Hadad in the 64th minute of play. When Ghazi Al Qatam was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 67 minutes had been played. In the 77th minute Nizar Taiban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mansour Kamal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Al Kuwait SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rida Al Ghanem fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nizar Taiban in the 90th minute of play forced Horsham's goalkeeper Mansour Kamal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tariq Al Fadhalah struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Mansour Kamal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Al Kuwait SC. A collision led to Horsham getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Shaker Bahroh hit a great ball. Mansour Kamal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tariq Al Fadhalah in the 95th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Horsham's Nemir Taiban got a free kick in the 95th minute. 97 minutes into the match, Horsham's goal looked a bit too open when Tariq Al Fadhalah came free, but Mansour Kamal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Horsham walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
