Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Congleton's Aesem Al Motar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Mortada Al Kandere got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jalal Al Hadad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aesem Al Motar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rushden's Jalal Al Hadad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aesem Al Motar in the 9th minute of play. Falah Bo Shehri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Aesem Al Motar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Congleton getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ayoob Al Khars hit a great ball. After 21 played minutes Rushden got a freekick which was hit by Sadeq Al Muwail. Rushden's Jalal Al Hadad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aesem Al Motar in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Rushden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fuad Al Rodhan to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aesem Al Motar in the 28th minute of play forced Rushden's goalkeeper Jalal Al Hadad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salem Al Jarah kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Baqer Hayat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rushden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baqer Hayat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Naji Al Baghli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ameer Bo Shehri having to interfere. Sayed Al Homaithe charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sayed Al Homaithe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st match minute, Congleton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sayed Al Homaithe to maneuver through the defense. Ameer Bo Shehri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naji Al Baghli, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Sayed Al Homaithe took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jalal Al Hadad to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Naji Al Baghli to strike the kick off in the second half. Naji Al Baghli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ameer Bo Shehri having to make a save. In the 66th minute, Rushden's Naji Al Baghli ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ameer Bo Shehri. Ameer Bo Shehri yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Khalefa Al Dowaisan kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. If Mortada Al Kandere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 85 minutes, Falah Bo Shehri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Congleton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Falah Bo Shehri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Congleton's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Naji Al Baghli scored to the left of an out of position Ameer Bo Shehri, making the score, 1-3. After a rather tough play, Rushden's Fuad Al Rodhan got a free kick in the 92nd minute. If Naji Al Baghli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Naji Al Baghli in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ameer Bo Shehri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Congleton supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rushden's performance. The match ended with a win for Rushden.
