In the 6th minute Al Rumaithiya City F.C were awarded a corner. Salam Khaja went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Salam Khaja got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Riad Kakoli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Arsenal Londyn's Hamzah Al Fadhalah got a free kick in the 7th minute. Riad Kakoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mahmoud Al Hammady in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Arsenal Londyn's goal looked a bit too open when Mahmoud Al Hammady came free, but Riad Kakoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdelnaser Al Arbash charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdelnaser Al Arbash the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Al Rumaithiya City F.C booed when Arsenal Londyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. When Meshari Al Bahar came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Al Rumaithiya City F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Meshari Al Bahar couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute of the match Ghanim Al Hashash shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Riad Kakoli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Riad Kakoli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Meshari Al Bahar in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mahmoud Al Hammady was the one to do the kick off. Sadeq Al Asuosi hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Meshari Al Bahar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 65th minute, Abdulatif Al Hadad fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bader Al Nasser, passed just outside the right post. Mahmoud Al Hammady recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Arsenal Londyn's goal looked a bit too open when Meshari Al Bahar came free, but Riad Kakoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mahmoud Al Hammady had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamzah Al Fadhalah's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bader Al Nasser read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Meshari Al Bahar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Riad Kakoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Arsenal Londyn's zone, Mahmoud Al Hammady stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Riad Kakoli came out of the goal and Mahmoud Al Hammady tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sadeq Al Asuosi kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
