The referee showed Nabel Hayat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nabel Hayat hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The supporters of Mossley booed when Hale City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bahaa Al Dekhel didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Saif Jiragh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mamdouh Al Attar to make the kick off. Malik Taqi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mamdouh Al Attar, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Sajid Al Gareb took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sayer Al Qattan. Sayer Al Qattan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.
