Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nizar Al Sayer kicked off to start the match. Hashem Al Enzi hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Nizar Al Sayer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gawhar Mandane having to make a save. Sultan Al Sharaf's late challenge caught a Frinton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sultan Al Sharaf helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes Banbury got a freekick which was hit by Sultan Al Sharaf. With a little luck, Frinton's Gawhar Mandane got control of the ball when Hani Khorshed tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lafi Bo Qamaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abbas Shamsah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hani Khorshed received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Gawhar Mandane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lafi Bo Qamaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abbas Shamsah in the 24th minute of play. After 27 minutes, Sulaiman Al Qattan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Frinton and the Banbury players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 35 minutes, Bassam Al Mosawe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frinton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bassam Al Mosawe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Abbas Shamsah had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lafi Bo Qamaz. Banbury's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abbas Shamsah was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 40th minute of the game, Hassan Bo Abbas landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 40 minutes, Nizar Al Sayer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Banbury and the Frinton players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nizar Al Sayer kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Frinton's Rashed Al Asuosi got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Banbury players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Frinton were winning 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bassam Al Mosawe made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Banbury's Hakem Al Zamel got a free kick in the 54th minute. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Bassam Al Mosawe got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Nizar Al Sayer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 63 minutes, Hani Khorshed managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Banbury's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hani Khorshed was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Banbury's goalkeeper Lafi Bo Qamaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bassam Al Mosawe. After 80 minutes, Gibrel Al Ammar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Banbury and the Frinton players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Banbury's Gibrel Al Ammar got a free kick in the 80th minute. Lafi Al Dowaisan kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. If Bassam Al Mosawe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nizar Al Sayer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gawhar Mandane having to interfere. The supporters of Banbury booed when Frinton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rashed Al Asuosi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Banbury supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Frinton's performance. The match ended with a win for Frinton.
