Fahhad Taiban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Seraj Al Khaled charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Seraj Al Khaled the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th minute Fahhad Taiban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ghazi Al Srae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 played minutes, Saltaire AFC's Abbas Al Habshi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ghazi Al Srae came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Saltaire AFC reached it. Taqi Al Khames came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Moath Al Saffar could save by the left post. Ghazi Al Srae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fahhad Taiban, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Khalaf Al Youha got free with Moath Al Saffar in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 31 minutes into the match, Minehead United's goal looked a bit too open when Manaf Al Khobaize came free, but Ghazi Al Srae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fahhad Taiban in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ghazi Al Srae saved Minehead United from getting behind. Khalaf Al Youha was extremely unlucky when he, in the 35th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Khalaf Al Youha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Talib Al Zamel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minehead United's supporters rose to their feet, but Talib Al Zamel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moath Al Saffar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Khalaf Al Youha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fahhad Taiban to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Fahhad Taiban reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ghazi Al Srae. The goal made the score 0-1. A collision led to Saltaire AFC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Nabel Al Amer hit a great ball. Minehead United's Talib Al Zamel got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 63 played minutes, Minehead United's Msaed Al Attar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Moath Al Saffar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Minehead United reached it. In the 65th minute of the match Aadil Al Bloshi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ghazi Al Srae skillfully saved the ball. Fahhad Taiban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ghazi Al Srae having to interfere. Moath Al Saffar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khalaf Al Youha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fakher Al Youha hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Talib Al Zamel might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Moath Al Saffar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Talib Al Zamel ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 79th minute, Manaf Al Khobaize got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Minehead United's Ghazi Al Srae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fahhad Taiban in the 88th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Saltaire AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
