Yahya Al Ajmi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fuad Al Adsani having to interfere. After 5 minutes of play, Hook's Yahya Al Ajmi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fuad Al Adsani was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yahya Al Ajmi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Fuad Al Adsani made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yahya Al Ajmi got free with Fuad Al Adsani in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Naji Al Saffar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bahaa Al Shati in the 13th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abdul Rahman Bo Abbas during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18thth minute of the game Yaseen Al Arbash who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hook's Naji Al Saffar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Yahya Al Ajmi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hook's supporters rose to their feet, but Yahya Al Ajmi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fuad Al Adsani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fuad Al Adsani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ayman Al Khars, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yahya Al Ajmi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Naji Al Saffar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Ayman Al Khars came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Hook fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ayman Al Khars couldn't finish the play. Yazeed Al Srae kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Fuad Al Adsani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yahya Al Ajmi in the 43rd minute. After a rather tough play, Stoneleigh's Mosab Bo Abbas got a free kick in the 46th minute. Hook's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ebrahem Kamal in the 49th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bahaa Al Shati stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yaseen Al Arbash recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bahaa Al Shati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Naji Al Saffar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bahaa Al Shati struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Naji Al Saffar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stoneleigh. Yaseen Al Arbash sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 99th minute Osama Al Zamel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fuad Al Adsani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hook's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
