Felix Imathiu came out of the goal and Harrison Oduor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Walter Denno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, Harrison Oduor fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a rather tough play, Conen Stars FC's John Wanjiru got a free kick in the 9th minute. After 13 minutes, Amos Kipwabok Njenga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Conen Stars FC and the Billingham City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Musimbi Konga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfred Kosgei having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Conen Stars FC's goalkeeper Felix Imathiu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walter Denno. Hassan Obala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 33rd minute Musimbi Konga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfred Kosgei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Joseph Waruinge fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Billingham City's protests and gave Joseph Waruinge a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Joseph Waruinge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hassan Obala struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Wilfred Kosgei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Conen Stars FC. Kimutai Korir kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Amos Kipwabok Njenga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wilfred Kosgei. Billingham City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Billingham City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Felix Imathiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Denno in the 58th minute of play. If Walter Denno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilfred Kosgei was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Musimbi Konga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 68 minute of play. In the 71st minute, Musimbi Konga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute, Walter Denno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Walter Denno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilfred Kosgei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Wilfred Kosgei managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Conen Stars FC's Musimbi Konga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Felix Imathiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Denno in the 91st minute of the match. Harrison Oduor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Imathiu having to interfere. In the 94th minute Harrison Oduor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Imathiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
