Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jawahir Shikanda got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Kemsing United getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Jawahir Shikanda hit a great ball. Haslingden United's Richard Nduro managed to work through Kemsing United's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Richard Nduro dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When David Chege came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Kemsing United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Chege couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Richard Nduro in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dennis Uche prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Haslingden United getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Bonaventure Adhiambo hit a great ball. Njeri Jonny was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but David Kimeu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. David Chege came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Njeri Jonny could save by the left post. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Kemsing United's goalkeeper Dennis Uche, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Richard Kosgei kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Dedan Nyambura sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kemsing United's Dennis Uche didn't even have to move. In the 35th match minute, Kemsing United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonaventure Pinches to maneuver through the defense. Richard Nduro took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dennis Uche. Dennis Uche dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Fredrick Biwott managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haslingden United's supporters rose to their feet, but Fredrick Biwott was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Uche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Richard Kosgei charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Richard Kosgei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, Richard Kosgei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richard Nduro made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Jawahir Shikanda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Richard Nduro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dennis Uche having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Kemsing United's zone, Sudha Asati stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dennis Uche came out of the goal and Sudha Asati tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 59 in the game by Richard Nduro from a close distance when the talented Dennis Uche managed to make a qualified save. Kemsing United's players were relieved. Richard Nduro in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dennis Uche, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Haslingden United getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Titus Biwott hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the game, Haslingden United's Richard Nduro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dennis Uche made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 74th minute, Jawahir Shikanda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Fredrick Koskei came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Haslingden United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fredrick Koskei couldn't finish the play. After 78 minutes, Haroun Mehta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haslingden United and the Kemsing United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th minute, one of Haslingden United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Haslingden United. The referee gave Kemsing United a penalty, 80 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Richard Kosgei, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Haslingden United's Njeri Jonny. 2-2. After 90 played minutes Richard Nduro could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 2-4 into the left cross. Fredrick Biwott recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Kemsing United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Haslingden United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
