Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Whitechapel's Martyn Clifton started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Redruth FC got a freekick which was hit by Hugh Merchant. If Rufus Woodcock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sol Billing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Webster, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Martyn Clifton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Lennie Blackley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Whitechapel's Sol Billing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Will Rashleigh in the 19th minute of play. Sol Billing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Will Rashleigh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Redruth FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Hugh Merchant hit a great ball. A hard shot 27 in the game by Rufus Woodcock from a close distance when the talented Lennie Blackley managed to make a qualified save. Redruth FC's players were relieved. Will Rashleigh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sol Billing having to interfere. Albert Townsend scored 0-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sol Billing, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Will Rashleigh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Whitechapel's Sol Billing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Townsend in the 37th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albert Townsend in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sol Billing saved Whitechapel from getting behind. In the 45th minute Martyn Clifton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennie Blackley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Redruth FC's Lennie Blackley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Redruth FC from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Albert Townsend made the kick off in the second half. If Marc Webster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the match, Rufus Woodcock had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lennie Blackley. Redruth FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rufus Woodcock was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 60th minute, Whitechapel's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Albert Townsend fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Will Rashleigh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sol Billing read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Martyn Clifton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Lennie Blackley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lennie Blackley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martyn Clifton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Martyn Clifton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the game, Albert Townsend cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Sol Billing was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Will Rashleigh might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sol Billing. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Will Rashleigh ran back to his position shaking his head. 84 minutes into the match, Hugh Merchant notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Whitechapel's Sol Billing. Sol Billing was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Will Rashleigh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sonny Cawood kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Albert Townsend sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Redruth FC booed when Whitechapel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sonny Cawood didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Whitechapel supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Redruth FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Redruth FC.
