Nathan Reid in the 4thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dave Deakin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jonathan Warrender fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave Deakin having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sutton on Sea FC's zone, Crispin Leyburn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vince Clayton came out of the goal and Crispin Leyburn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Air Jordan booed when Sutton on Sea FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gus North didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Crispin Leyburn made a precise shot to the right of Vince Clayton. Sutton on Sea FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Crispin Leyburn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sutton on Sea FC's Vince Clayton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theo Bates in the 22nd minute of play. After 24 played minutes Air Jordan got a freekick which was hit by John Winterburn. After having played for 25 minutes, Jonathan Warrender managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sutton on Sea FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Warrender was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Air Jordan's Dave Deakin got control of the ball when Nathan Reid tried to sneak it across the goal line. The attack was good, but when Jonathan Warrender in the 28th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Jonathan Warrender fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave Deakin having to interfere. Nathan Reid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Dave Deakin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Gus North managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sutton on Sea FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gus North was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dave Deakin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 45 minutes, Dom Black mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Air Jordan and the Sutton on Sea FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dom Black kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Dave Deakin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nathan Reid went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathan Warrender stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dave Deakin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Warrender in the 55th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Nathan Reid managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sutton on Sea FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nathan Reid was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dave Deakin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Warrender fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave Deakin having to interfere. Dave Deakin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathan Reid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Air Jordan's Dom Black got his second yellow card of the match in the 69th minute. The referee ordered Dom Black off the ground. After a rather tough play, Air Jordan's Dom Black got a free kick in the 70th minute. Jonathan Warrender fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave Deakin having to interfere. Dave Deakin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Warrender in the 82nd minute of play. If Crispin Leyburn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matty Nethercot hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, Sutton on Sea FC's Nathan Reid sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dave Deakin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Nathan Reid ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dave Deakin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sutton on Sea FC fully deserved thier win.
