Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fitz Davies started the match with the kick off. Max Hopker kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Basil Hird hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Loyd Grantham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Pierce Eyre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pierce Eyre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ash Larham in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute Alastair Cross shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierce Eyre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Coppull AFC's Caleb Brazier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fitz Davies in the 13th minute of play. If Fitz Davies had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caleb Brazier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norman Davey in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Coppull AFC's Ash Larham sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pierce Eyre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ash Larham was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 25th minute. Coppull AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in Coppull AFC's zone, Basil Hird stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caleb Brazier came out of the goal and Basil Hird tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fitz Davies received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Caleb Brazier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ash Larham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Norman Davey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caleb Brazier having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ash Larham to make the kick off. In the 57th minute, Basil Hird hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Melksham's Fitz Davies in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Coppull AFC's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Coppull AFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Daryl Airton hit a great ball. Norman Davey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Caleb Brazier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fitz Davies in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caleb Brazier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ash Larham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 82 played minutes Melksham got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Baxter. When Loyd Grantham came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Coppull AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loyd Grantham couldn't finish the play. Ash Larham struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Pierce Eyre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coppull AFC. Caleb Brazier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Basil Hird in the 88th minute. Loyd Grantham struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. The match ended in a draw.
