Thanks to some nice moves Brad Sawyer could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Daniel Faith however easily saved by the left post. 27 minutes into the match, Malmesbury's Brad Sawyer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Faith narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ruben Chamberlain scored 0-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ash Legg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel Faith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danny Carr in the 35th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Jibrini F.C's zone, Brad Sawyer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Faith came out of the goal and Brad Sawyer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Jibrini F.C's Daniel Faith got control of the ball when Brad Sawyer tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ruben Chamberlain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Danny Carr was the one to do the kick off. In the 61st match minute, Malmesbury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Hoult to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruben Chamberlain got free with Ash Legg in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes into the match, Jibrini F.C's Warren Tetley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ash Legg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Malmesbury's Danny Carr in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In a very dangerous position, a player in Jibrini F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! Glyn Downton shot the penalty kick right outside the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brad Sawyer in the 80th minute of play forced Jibrini F.C's goalkeeper Daniel Faith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Mark Dove was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jibrini F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malmesbury the free kick. Daniel Faith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brad Sawyer in the 86th minute of the match. Jibrini F.C were furious when Ray Grigg was red carded, 89 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jibrini F.C! Glyn Downton walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 94 minutes into the match, Jibrini F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Danny Carr came free, but Daniel Faith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Brad Sawyer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Malmesbury's Ash Legg got control of the ball when Ruben Chamberlain tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Jibrini F.C walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
