Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rueben Morgan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Norwich City were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Al-Faisaly SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kris Flower took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Al-Faisaly SC's goalie and right to Sol Carragher. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Al-Faisaly SC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Den Pennant put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cliff Burnett. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rueben Morgan in the 20th minute of play forced Norwich City's goalkeeper Tony Sadler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Norwich City's Den Pennant in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Al-Faisaly SC's goalie prevented a goal. Cliff Burnett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Den Pennant in the 27th minute of the match. Jamal Topham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Tony Sadler made a huge save. Craig Hall kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Ozzy Chilton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cliff Burnett having to interfere. Cliff Burnett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ozzy Chilton in the 35th minute of the match. Cliff Burnett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Den Pennant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jamal Topham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Sadler having to interfere. In the 41st minute Alistair Bolton suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 41 minutes into the game, Alex Lonsdale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Al-Faisaly SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Norwich City the free kick. The supporters of Norwich City booed when Al-Faisaly SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Lonsdale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tony Sadler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rueben Morgan in the 44th minute of the match. The Al-Faisaly SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Norwich City were winning 0-1.

Ozzy Chilton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cliff Burnett having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Ozzy Chilton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Norwich City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 69 played minutes Al-Faisaly SC got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Herring. Ozzy Chilton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cliff Burnett having to interfere. Ozzy Chilton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Ivan Herring hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Norwich City's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Lonsdale came free, but Tony Sadler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tony Sadler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamal Topham, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Rueben Simms hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When Kris Flower fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Norwich City's protests and gave Kris Flower a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute, Kris Flower hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
