Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ken Notley got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Radcliffe-on-Trent was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnathan Layfield to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Radcliffe-on-Trent's goalkeeper Lloyd Portway, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Trev Pascoe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Lloyd Portway tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Ken Notley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rudston fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Johnathan Layfield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jacob Wheeler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Trev Pascoe made a precise shot to the right of Lloyd Portway. Radcliffe-on-Trent's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Lloyd Portway took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ken Notley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ken Notley might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lloyd Portway. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ken Notley ran back to his position shaking his head. Trev Pascoe took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lloyd Portway. Lloyd Portway dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. When Trev Pascoe came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Rudston fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Trev Pascoe couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Trev Pascoe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rudston's supporters rose to their feet, but Trev Pascoe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lloyd Portway breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ken Notley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stuart Knightley to make the kick off. Stuart Knightley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. In the 73rd minute, Rio Couch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
