If Shane Paget had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marty Bond's late challenge caught a Otterham's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marty Bond helped the player get up and apologised. Keiran Watson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steve Watts, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 13th minute, Donny Cowling got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Keiran Watson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Watts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ted Colley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kelvin Small in the 27th minute of the match. Donny Cowlings short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Keiran Watson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 35th minute, Kelvin Small hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Steve Watts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Keiran Watson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Otterham players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Dartmouth were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Steve Watts to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Watts in the 53rd minute of play forced Dartmouth's goalkeeper Keiran Watson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th match minute, Dartmouth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Will Griggs to maneuver through the defense. Donny Cowling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keiran Watson having to interfere. If Kelvin Small had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donny Cowling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 83 minutes, Lloyd Best mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Otterham and the Dartmouth players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Otterham getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Lloyd Best hit a great ball. Steve Watts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keiran Watson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marty Bond in the 94th minute of play forced Otterham's goalkeeper Ted Colley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
