Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Verne North made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 2nd minute, Luke Notley made a precise shot to the right of Bart Batty. Yeadon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hounslow AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 12 minutes, Yeadon's Wally Dickens got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ty Long. After 16 minutes of play, Hounslow AFC's Justin French made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bart Batty was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bradley Banks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Bart Batty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Hounslow AFC's Bradley Banks sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bart Batty narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronny Mann during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Hounslow AFC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ronny Mann hit a great ball. Verne North fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ty Long having to interfere. Justin French sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Gordon Hitchcock managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yeadon's supporters rose to their feet, but Gordon Hitchcock was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ty Long breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vern Sewell charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vern Sewell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes Hounslow AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gavin Plumber.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Justin French to strike the kick off in the second half. Justin French sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaz French hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 62 played minutes Hounslow AFC got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Greaves. Ty Long took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Verne North, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Verne North received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ty Long tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justin French sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Verne North in the 89th minute of play forced Hounslow AFC's goalkeeper Ty Long to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hounslow AFC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Yeadon had controlled the match.
