Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Crispin Johnson made the kick off which started today's match. 8 minutes into the match, Bristol Centre's goalkeeper Hayden Cousens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Greg Burns. After 9 played minutes Eastbourne FC got a freekick which was hit by Hugh Horseman. Crispin Johnson struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Rupert Avery didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bristol Centre. Crispin Johnson succeeded in the game's 13th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Rupert Avery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Crispin Johnson in the 22nd minute of play. Alec Mason recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Greg Burns fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hayden Cousens having to interfere. If Crispin Johnson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 38 minutes, Alec Mason managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eastbourne FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alec Mason was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Bristol Centre's Hayden Cousens got control of the ball when Greg Burns tried to sneak it across the goal line. Crispin Johnson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Crispin Johnson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Graham Colley during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alec Mason to strike the kick off in the second half. Graham Colley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rupert Avery having to interfere. The supporters of Eastbourne FC booed when Bristol Centre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Braithwaite didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bristol Centre's Hayden Cousens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alec Mason in the 57th minute of play. After 60 minutes, Greg Burns made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bristol Centre's Hayden Cousens tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 62 minutes, Stan Coulthard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bristol Centre and the Eastbourne FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bristol Centre getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Stan Coulthard hit a great ball. Alec Mason struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alec Mason in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hayden Cousens saved Bristol Centre from getting behind. In the 89th minute Johnathon Truscott shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayden Cousens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bristol Centre's Hayden Cousens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alec Mason in the 91st minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Eastbourne FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bristol Centre had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
