In the 3rd minute Yochai Falk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ami Yehoshua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yizrach Amarel charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yizrach Amarel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Yizrach Amarel kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. If Lishai Riff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ami Yehoshua was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Yochai Falk capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Yochai Falk really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 13th minute, Lishai Riff ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ami Yehoshua was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The Taiyiba fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Taiyiba's Aryeh Aronberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lishai Riff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ami Yehoshua having to interfere. The supporters of University of Toronto booed when Taiyiba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yizrach Amarel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yochai Falk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ami Yehoshua having to interfere. Joel Laskin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of University of Toronto booed when Taiyiba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yizrach Amarel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natan Bar-Levy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aryeh Aronberg in the 40th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aryeh Aronberg in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Natan Bar-Levy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 45 minutes into the game, Micha Hirsch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. University of Toronto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taiyiba the free kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yochai Falk to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Taiyiba's goal looked a bit too open when Lishai Riff came free, but Ami Yehoshua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute Yochai Falk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ami Yehoshua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ami Yehoshua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lishai Riff, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Taiyiba's Aryeh Aronberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Natan Bar-Levy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 68 minutes, Yochai Falk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. University of Toronto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yochai Falk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 79 minutes, Joel Laskin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taiyiba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Laskin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, Taiyiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Tapper to maneuver through the defense. Yochai Falk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ami Yehoshua having to interfere. Natan Bar-Levy made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Joel Laskin sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to University of Toronto getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Gevaram Bergerson hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Aryeh Aronberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The University of Toronto fans cheered their team off the field, for while Taiyiba had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
