SC Shorashim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Engeddi the free kick. Shelah Carmiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sagiv Buksenboim in the 11th minute of play. Sagiv Buksenboim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in SC Shorashim's zone, Shandu Shriki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shelah Carmiel came out of the goal and Shandu Shriki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Liad Radzivilovski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Saul Yakubovich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the game, SC Shorashim's Saul Yakubovich nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fredi Provintzia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Shandu Shriki charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shandu Shriki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Shandu Shriki hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Somo Elul kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Saul Yakubovich could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Fredi Provintzia made a huge save. Guri Einhorn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredi Provintzia having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sagiv Buksenboim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Saul Yakubovich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sagiv Buksenboim struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Shelah Carmiel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Engeddi. Sagiv Buksenboim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Shelah Carmiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shelah Carmiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sagiv Buksenboim in the 64th minute of the match. Guri Einhorn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredi Provintzia having to interfere. If Guri Einhorn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Shorashim's Shelah Carmiel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save SC Shorashim from getting a goal against them. After 87 played minutes FC Engeddi got a freekick which was hit by Koren Shvartz. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Engeddi's goalkeeper Fredi Provintzia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Saul Yakubovich might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fredi Provintzia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saul Yakubovich ran back to his position shaking his head. Saul Yakubovich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Engeddi's Fredi Provintzia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guri Einhorn in the 96th minute of play. Shelah Carmiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sagiv Buksenboim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Engeddi players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Shorashim.
