Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lidor Sharabani started the match with the kick off. Ayalon Tshuva scored 0-1 in the 2nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Soly Barkan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Gefen's Avni Paras got a free kick in the 5th minute. If Aviran Navon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hasid Harel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mitia Sudmi having to interfere. When Lidor Sharabani came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Gefen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lidor Sharabani couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute, Shimi Shalom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gefen's Soly Barkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ayalon Tshuva in the 21st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Orlev Nissim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute of the match Hillel Leiserowitch sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Soly Barkan skillfully saved the ball. In the 35th minute, Ayalon Tshuva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aviran Navon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mitia Sudmi made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Hasid Harel sent off a good shot on target. 48 minutes into the match, FC Mabuim's goalkeeper Mitia Sudmi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hasid Harel.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ayalon Tshuva made a kick off. After 61 minutes, Shimi Anka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gefen and the FC Mabuim players grew even worse after the yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, FC Mabuim's Hillel Leiserowitch tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Lidor Sharabani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mitia Sudmi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to FC Mabuim getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Noam Kuper hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the game, Bil Birnbaum was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Mabuim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gefen the free kick. In the 78th minute of the match Gefen got a corner. FC Mabuim's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fred Hatav ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 80th minute, Hasid Harel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gefen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Hasid Harel struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Mitia Sudmi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gefen. Gefen's Fred Hatav couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 91st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Mabuim. Orlev Nissim kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Hillel Leiserowitch made a great header on FC Mabuim's corner, it was just that Gefen's Soly Barkan managed to reach the ball for a save. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
