The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, FC Eitanim's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Buzaglo came free, but Ivgeny Katan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Babu Vaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivgeny Katan having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Eitanim's Harry Uzan got a free kick in the 11th minute. Ivgeny Katan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Buzaglo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivgeny Katan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Buzaglo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Gavriel Nyba's late challenge caught a FC Zofit's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gavriel Nyba helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Eitanim getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Gavriel Nyba hit a great ball. The referee showed Ginadi Almagor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 29 minutes into the game, one of FC Zofit:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 31st minute there was a penalty for FC Eitanim. Zvulun Maya stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Yotam Hen. 1-0. Sabi Malka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yotam Hen having to interfere. A collision led to FC Zofit getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Avishay Israel hit a great ball. Babu Vaitz kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 47th minute Gavriel Nyba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yotam Hen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

FC Eitanim's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Felix Buzaglo scored to the left of an out of position Ivgeny Katan, making the score, 1-1. Felix Buzaglo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ivgeny Katan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Babu Vaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivgeny Katan having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Eli Avigdor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Babu Vaitz got free with Ivgeny Katan in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Eitanim's Ivgeny Katan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Buzaglo in the 77th minute of play. Felix Buzaglo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ivgeny Katan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Sabi Malka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yotam Hen. FC Zofit's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sabi Malka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Ivgeny Katan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Buzaglo, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. FC Eitanim's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
