Niki Afeks short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Gerber Kokoshvili to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 10 in the game by Niki Afek from a close distance when the talented Gerber Kokoshvili managed to make a qualified save. SC Zalafa's players were relieved. Alexey Talshir struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Gerber Kokoshvili didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Iamnia. The supporters of SC Zalafa booed when FC Iamnia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexey Talshir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerber Kokoshvili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexey Talshir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Iamnia were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after SC Zalafa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dorin Meir took the corner. The corner ended in Dorin Meir almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SC Zalafa's Gerber Kokoshvili did a great save. Gerber Kokoshvili made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niki Afek in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Shoval in the 28th minute of play forced FC Iamnia's goalkeeper Mashiah Heht to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mark Shoval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Mashiah Heht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexey Talshir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alexey Talshir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FC Iamnia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Zalafa were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mark Shoval to strike the kick off in the second half. Shalev Benayoun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th match minute, SC Zalafa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gadi Rachmo to maneuver through the defense. Gerber Kokoshvili stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexey Talshir's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Niki Afek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerber Kokoshvili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niki Afek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexey Talshir struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boaz Madar got free with Mashiah Heht in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gadi Rachmo's late challenge caught a FC Iamnia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gadi Rachmo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SC Zalafa's Gadi Rachmo got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 82nd match minute, FC Iamnia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Menahem Gutman to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niki Afek in the 88th minute of play forced SC Zalafa's goalkeeper Gerber Kokoshvili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boaz Madar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mashiah Heht read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Niki Afek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niki Afek in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerber Kokoshvili saved SC Zalafa from getting behind. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Zalafa walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
