Elkayam Salman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomi Kaslasi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. After 20 played minutes SC Rannen got a freekick which was hit by Ilan Fischer. Gur Zohar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Gigi Ron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ashquelon's Gur Zohar in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Rannen's goalie prevented a goal. Andrei Golan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gigi Ron having to interfere. Froid Mishali kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. SC Rannen's Gigi Ron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrei Golan in the 35th minute of play. Bil Azran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Tomi Kaslasi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bil Azran came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the SC Rannen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bil Azran couldn't finish the play. In the 48th play minute Bil Azran came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tomi Kaslasi. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Elkayam Salman made the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd minute, Bil Azran made a precise shot to the right of Tomi Kaslasi. Ashquelon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The supporters of Ashquelon booed when SC Rannen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davidi Uziel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute Bil Azran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomi Kaslasi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elkayam Salman in the 71st minute of play forced Ashquelon's goalkeeper Tomi Kaslasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, SC Rannen's Gal Barana got a free kick in the 72nd minute. If Andrei Golan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Elkayam Salman, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 85 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Tomi Kaslasi was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Bil Azran notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Ashquelon's Tomi Kaslasi. Tomi Kaslasi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomi Kaslasi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bil Azran in the 91st minute of play. Andrei Golan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gigi Ron having to interfere. Gur Zohar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ashquelon players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Rannen.
