After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Oshik Atzpir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balfouriyya's supporters rose to their feet, but Oshik Atzpir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruven Mazoz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tserufa's Ruven Mazoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hertzel Arbel in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Balfouriyya's goalkeeper Kislev Martziano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Ezra Kremer put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Kislev Martziano. The audience was convinced that Hertzel Arbel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruven Mazoz was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. With a left leg Ruven Mazoz saved Tserufa from getting behind. After some careless play in the Tserufa defense, Oshik Atzpir kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruven Mazoz. The Tserufa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruven Mazoz should have stopped the shot. Kislev Martziano made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Itzhak Rabin sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Ezra Kremer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tserufa's supporters rose to their feet, but Ezra Kremer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kislev Martziano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ruven Mazoz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hertzel Arbel's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. With an all-out effort, Tserufa's Kislev Martziano threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ezra Kremer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Hertzel Arbel sped through Tserufa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ruven Mazoz. Ezra Kremer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Kislev Martziano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Itzhak Rabin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aviron Haliva during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oshik Atzpir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruven Mazoz having to interfere. Balfouriyya were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Tserufa for a fine match.
