Benzion Mahlkin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nati Schultz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hatserim's Benzion Mahlkin got a free kick in the 6th minute. A collision led to FC Ilanya getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Edmond Hod hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benzion Mahlkin in the 11th minute of play forced FC Ilanya's goalkeeper Nati Schultz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Rivai Duany got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27th match minute, FC Ilanya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erel Kavod to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Hatserim's Yoshiyahu Seligman got a free kick in the 35th minute. Nati Schultz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henanya Cotton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Hatserim's Alex Hazan got a free kick in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rivai Duany to strike the kick off in the second half. Erel Kavod charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erel Kavod the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henanya Cotton got free with Nati Schultz in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 59 minutes into the match, FC Ilanya's Rivai Duany sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guri Tarratut narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Abner Bar-Menahem's late challenge caught a FC Ilanya's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abner Bar-Menahem helped the player get up and apologised. Abner Bar-Menahem kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. When Rivai Duany came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the FC Ilanya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rivai Duany couldn't finish the play. Guri Tarratut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rivai Duany in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hatserim's Adiv Fromm got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 78th match minute, FC Ilanya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jair Navee to maneuver through the defense. Benayahu Katabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Guri Tarratut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guri Tarratut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rivai Duany in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Rivai Duany made a precise shot to the right of Guri Tarratut. Hatserim's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. FC Ilanya were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Hatserim for a fine match.
