Reuven Aronson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lot Tsafrir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amitz Hirsh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ardon Shinhav in the 19th minute. The attack was good, but when Robbie del Monte in the 20th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Abir Richman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Reuven Aronson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. הפועל ירושלים's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Robbie del Monte scored to the left of an out of position Amitz Hirsh, making the score, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Robbie del Monte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amitz Hirsh was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. The wind increased when Abir Richman made the kick off in the second half. Igal Rabe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Amitz Hirsh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amitz Hirsh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robbie del Monte, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Robbie del Monte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amitz Hirsh having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Robbie del Monte put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Amitz Hirsh. 71 minutes into the match, GAIA's goalkeeper Reuven Aronson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emil Fierstein. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robbie del Monte in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amitz Hirsh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th minute, Elisha Avraami hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Robbie del Monte came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the GAIA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robbie del Monte couldn't finish the play. Amitz Hirsh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robbie del Monte in the 83rd minute of play. If Jedaiah Gabor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amitz Hirsh came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by GAIA's Robbie del Monte. But to his dismay, Robbie del Monte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robbie del Monte in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amitz Hirsh saved הפועל ירושלים from getting behind. הפועל ירושלים's Amitz Hirsh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robbie del Monte in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, הפועל ירושלים's goal looked a bit too open when Robbie del Monte came free, but Amitz Hirsh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amitz Hirsh didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robbie del Monte went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the GAIA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
