Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yoyo Megidish started the match with the kick off. After having played for 6 minutes, Karlos Azrai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Zalafah's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karlos Azrai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Karlos Azrai fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Zalafah's protests and gave Karlos Azrai a yellow card for diving instead. SC Zalafah's Jacky Gershon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yoyo Megidish in the 14th minute of play. SC Merghelyout's Shmulik Huntos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elhanan Aharon in the 16th minute of play. If Elhanan Aharon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the game, Zevik Shaizinger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Merghelyout's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Zalafah the free kick. Zevik Shaizinger hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. If Karlos Azrai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SC Merghelyout's Ezra Baruch got a free kick in the 25th minute. If Rafi Fischer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elhanan Aharon to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Yoyo Megidish shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacky Gershon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Zalafah's Aziz Ringel got a free kick in the 55th minute. Netanel Ziv was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 56th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 60th minute, SC Merghelyout's Yoyo Megidish ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacky Gershon. Jacky Gershon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Elhanan Aharon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Elhanan Aharon struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Shmulik Huntos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Zalafah. Jacky Gershon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yoyo Megidish, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Shmulik Huntos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karlos Azrai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shmulik Huntos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karlos Azrai in the 77th minute of play. When Elhanan Aharon got free in front of the goal in the 83rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Shmulik Huntos was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Shmulik Huntos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karlos Azrai in the 86th minute of the match. Yoyo Megidish's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacky Gershon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. In the 96th of the match, Yoyo Megidish tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Jacky Gershon got in the way and made a wonderful save.
