With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yoyo Megidish in the 2nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Ezra saved FC Elyashiv from getting behind. The supporters of SC Merghelyout booed when FC Elyashiv was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliezer Sinay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yoyo Megidish sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shmulik Huntos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmel Biton, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute, Rafi Fischer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Eve Semel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shmulik Huntos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmel Biton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafi Fischer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Ezra having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Gidi Suan managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Elyashiv's supporters rose to their feet, but Gidi Suan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shmulik Huntos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eve Semel in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Shmulik Huntos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eve Semel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shmulik Huntos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eve Semel in the 36th minute of play. Eve Semel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Shmulik Huntos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yoyo Megidish was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute, Rafi Fischer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Merghelyout fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Eve Semel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carmel Biton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shmulik Huntos having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Yoyo Megidish made a precise shot to the right of Ali Ezra. FC Elyashiv's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Rafi Fischer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yoyo Megidish in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ali Ezra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ido Barana kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After 96 minutes, Eve Semel made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. SC Merghelyout's Shmulik Huntos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Elyashiv players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Merghelyout.
