After 9 minutes of play FC Yohanan's Orel Kravitz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Rewaha booed when FC Yohanan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orel Kravitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Shoval Pesi came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Rewaha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shoval Pesi couldn't finish the play. Mashiah Hamssa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Vaser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franco Vaser's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mashiah Hamssa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, FC Yohanan's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Vaser came free, but Mashiah Hamssa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
