After 5 played minutes Karmiyah got a freekick which was hit by Galil Tsarfati. After a defensive mix-up in Karmiyah's zone, Shalev Zahavi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tzadok Or came out of the goal and Shalev Zahavi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the match, Karmiyah's goalkeeper Tzadok Or had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tzuri Gros. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klemensi Refua in the 22nd minute of play forced Gan's goalkeeper Yonah Oved to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Karmiyah's Yoash Tawill sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yonah Oved narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 24 minutes into the game, Ziv Machluf cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Yonah Oved was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yoash Tawill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Yonah Oved tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Roman Avivi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute Ziv Machluf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yonah Oved saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yoash Tawill scored 1-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yonah Oved, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The wind increased when Roman Avivi made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Yoash Tawill got a very nice opportunity to score, but Yonah Oved was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Gan's Yonah Oved got control of the ball when Yoash Tawill tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Karmiyah booed when Gan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tzuri Gros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roman Avivi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tzadok Or having to interfere. In the 90th minute of the match Gan got a corner. Karmiyah's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Shalev Zahavi ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Gan's corner Shalev Zahavi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tzadok Or quite easily take care of the ball. Tzadok Or showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tzuri Gros, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Karmiyah eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
