The Eilat fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 30 minutes into the match, Akir's goal looked a bit too open when Haviv Ohayon came free, but Magen Isakov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rahamim Fliter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaby Huldai's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. After having played for 36 minutes, Gaby Huldai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Akir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaby Huldai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haviv Ohayon in the 38th minute of play forced Akir's goalkeeper Magen Isakov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rahamim Fliter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zalmon Twitto in the 40th minute of the match. The supporters of Eilat booed when Akir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zalmon Twitto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Magen Isakov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

In the 54th minute Melrod Holtzman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magen Isakov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaby Huldai couldn't finish the play. Magen Isakov came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Eilat's Melrod Holtzman. But to his dismay, Melrod Holtzman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. The supporters of Eilat booed when Akir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Golan Ort didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute Melrod Holtzman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magen Isakov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gaby Huldai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rahamim Fliter was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Magen Isakov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Haviv Ohayon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magen Isakov having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaby Huldai in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rahamim Fliter saved Eilat from getting behind.
